Autopsy Report Finally Came Back
Cause of Death:     Drug Toxicity
Manner of Death:   Accidental

8/15/07    UPDATE
The exact cause of Dan's death, was the
combination of alcohol & fetanyl.

Dan did not have any other drugs in his
system & was tested for everything.

The fetanyl came in the form of a Lollipop and
tastes like candy.
It's called Actiq Lollipop Painkiller.
It's usually only given to cancer patients.The
alcohol level alone wouldn't have killed him.
The Night He Died 6/6/07:
Dan was working in Ohio, and staying in a
motel room with a co worker.
Dan was in a friends motel room (just down
from his room) he'd been drinking with them.
He left their room at 11:30pm .
About that same time, 2 witnesses said that
Dan was staggering down the hall trying to
find his room and had a sucker in his mouth.
One of the witnesses helped him to his room.
His room mate found him, lying face down on
the floor and when he tried to wake him up
for work,but couldn't.
He died with in hours after ingesting the
painkiller sucker. The stick to the sucker,
was found next to his body.
The case is still under investigation so this is
all that I can say at this time.
There is a suspect but no arrest yet.

Still have many photos to add on Lapeer Lanes Album. Due to the emotional part of doing it, there may be long delays between
my updates. It seems like time is the only thing that helps heal the pain & sadness of losing Dan. So I'll do more when I can.
